Vertical Integration, Digital Twins, and Open Source Software Slash Costs
By building our own motors, linear actuators, and robots in-house, and utilizing our own motion control solutions, we don't have to pay expensive sub-contractors and manufacturers for their equipment and services.
We also lean heavily on 3D printing, low cost (but precise) laser cut metal plates, as well as mass produced motion control components.
Finally, we write our control code in Python, an easy to use and high level language, rather than the proprietary languages or old fashioned PLCs often utilized by other automation equipment providers. We use C in the background for real-time control, but it's rarely needed when coding an application.
Finally, we leverage digital twin technology to implement and test solutions digitally before we even turn the first screw. This saves us (and you) time and money, and provides you with quick feedback on the viability of a particular design.
All of these design decisions keep our prices are far lower than you're used to seeing.
